Today, ascend to the Aiguille du Midi via cable for extraordinary views of the French, Swiss, and Italian Alps. At an elevation of over 12,600 feet (3,842 meters), the Aiguille du Midi is the closet one may reach to the summit of the legendary Mont Blanc-the birthplace of mountaineering. After, some time to soaking in the 360 degree views, you may chose to return to Chamonix via cable car OR return to Chamonix on foot with a local alpinist (you'll travel by cable car to the halfway point and the rest of the way into town on a well-travelled trail). The remainder of the day and evening is at leisure.

Today, bid "adieu" to Chamonix (and France) as you make your way to Switzerland. Arrive late morning in the lakeside town of Lausanne, where you join your tour leader for a stroll in the old city center. Enjoy a 2-night stay in this beautiful, picturesque town. Tonight's dinner is in the hotel.

Today, enjoy the entire morning at your leisure. Consider a walk to the Olympic Museum before an included afternoon visit to the terraced vineyards of Lavaux (UNESCO). Begin with lunch at a family-owned restaurant and then proceed for wine tasting amongst the vines. Walk through the vineyards and drink in the signature varietals whilst taking in the glorious scenery.

This morning, enjoy Lake Geneva and Montreax before an afternoon train ride on the GoldenPass, that takes you through the Swiss countryside en route to Gstaad. Tonight, dine on top of the Interlaken. Breathe in the fresh mountain air, admire breathtaking views, and taste the local cuisine. Settle in for a 2-night stay in Grindelwald, set at the base of The Eiger.

A short cogwheel train ride brings you to Jungfraujoch (UNESCO), known as the "Top of Europe". Take your time to explore the everlasting winter wonderland with impressive views of the imposing triple peaks of Eiger, Monch, and Jungfrau. Wander the Ice Palace to see works of the icy art carved by local artists and take an Instagram worthy photo next to the Swiss flag to celebrate this unique moment. Tonight, enjoy the evening at your leisure.

Today, depart Switzerland after some more free time in Lucerne, which is considered one of the most beautiful lakeside cities. Drive through Liechtenstein, the only country to lie entirely within the Alps, on your way to Austria. Arrive this evening to Seefeld, your home for the next two nights. Dinner will be in the hotel. The rest of the evening is at leisure.

This morning the choice is yours on how you would like to explore this charming town in Seefeld. Tour the town and surrounding area in a horse-drawn carriage OR join a local guide on a hike through the unspoiled beauty of the Tyrolean mountains and forests. This afternoon, cross into Germany where you learn the art and craft of violin making at the Geigenbau Museum, before returning to Seefeld to indulge in homemade Tyrolean cuisine at a local restaurant.

Savour the scenery of the spectacular Bavarian Alps while en route to enchanting Innsbruck. Walk the charming streets, discover the historic old town, and take in the landmarks such as the Golden Roof. Depart Austria for Italy to witness the unique jagged limestone peaks of the Dolomites. Arrive in Bolzano otherwise known as the Queen of the Dolomites (UNESCO), and your home for the next 2 nights.

Enjoy a full day at leisure. Bask in the charm of Bolzano, strolling along its main street and taking in the views of the surrounding Dolomite peaks.

Optional Experience: Consider exploring further into this legendary mountain range to discover its natural beauty and local traditions. During this excursion, take a walk in the Badia valley. Learn about the centuries old Landin culture, before stopping for lunch at a nearby Maso (Alpine farm) for a taste of the local Ladin fare. Afterwards, a cable car ride brings you to Rifugio Lagazuoi for stunning views of the peaks and landscapes below. Return to Bolzano for a free evening at leisure.

Journey south this morning and into the rolling hills of Italy’s Prosecco region. Visit a local vineyard, where you taste the region’s sparkling speciality combined with a light lunch. Upon arrival in Verona free time is yours to explore on your own.

This morning discover the city of Romeo & Juliet with a local expert. Feel astounded during your walking tour as you view amazing Roman ruins in the arena situated along the river Adige. The afternoon is at your leisure. This evening, explore the frescoed halls and grounds of your historic countryside villa before you gather for your farewell dinner, and a toast to new friends, fond memories and an unforgettable journey.

Your alpine adventure comes to an end today. Transfer to Milan airport for your return home.
